Call of Duty 4 for Xbox 360 Game Review

November 19, 2007 | Filed Under Game Reviews | No Comments

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is much more appealing than the earlier installments. The reason is simple. It is set in the present day, not in WW2 like the earlier versions.

I would go as far as to say that it is the best among all the versions of this game. As a first person shooter game, it scores the highest to my mind compared to other such games. The production values are fantastic and the multiplayer mode is brilliant. Great graphics and visual presentation add up to make this a great all round game. I loved the sound too.

Sharper controls and good multiplayer mode are enough for me to recommend this game. The only big drawback in this game is an extremely short single player campaign. If you are not a multiplayer buff this is likely to be a major drawback. Even so, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is definitely the best game of this series.

The game can be described as fast paced and realistic. You get to be a British and American soldier. It takes a little time to master the controls, but it is not that difficult. One negative is that there is no co-op mode. I wish there was! Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare reminds me of other games that I have played like Full Spectrum Warrior.

On the whole it is a very entertaining game and definitely recommended!
