Enemy Territory: Quake Wars for The Xbox 360 Game Review

Quake Wars, the multiplayer action game is available for the Xbox 360 at a price of $59.99. The game is set around the forces of the alien Strogg defending against the human Global Defence Force. There is a lot of coordination required in this game.
In the Xbox 360 version there is a new level called “island”. In this level an important sattelite facility has been taken over by the Strogg. The GDF is tasked with reclaiming the data the sattelite carries. In this process the GDF has to get power generators running, capture the data and then extract to an observatory.
In the new beta, there are persistent stats and a persistent rank system that rewards team play. Rank promotions in Quake Wars come by racking up achievments and this is done by helping your team win a mission. There are improvements to the user interface in the Xbox 360 version of the game.
The “bot” performance is worth noting as well. Bots are computer controlled characters. Single player play with bots or multiplayer by combining players and bots is possible. The AI operating in the bots is extremely good. It is surprising what they can do.
It has taken 4 years to make Quake Wars. Now that it is here, there is excitement in the air. Both the PC and xbox versions are good. This is going to be many impressive gaming hours.
