Frontlines: Fuel of War is available for the Xbox 360 from THQ at a price of $59.99. This game can be played by up to 50 players and this can result in sheer madness. When you play this game get ready for a lot of violence. Kills, dying and a whole lot of action. There are such a large number of players that can play this game since there will be dedicated servers for this game. In most THQ games only one player is the host.
The game starts many decades in the future. There is a brutal war between the Red Star Alliance and the Western Coalition for resources that are very scarce. You can choose either side to fight on. In addition there is a huge element of cooperation involved as you form squads in the effort to defeat the other side.
Although the developers of this game have also worked on the Battlefield series and therefore the feel of these games lingers in Frontlines: Fuel of War, the larger player counts also create an individual identity for it. For lovers of war and chaos, this game can send you to high levels of gaming pleasure, although slightly dark ones. The action is very heavy and if this is what you like, this is the game for you.
There are three maps here – the first is “Invasion” where the western coalition assaults a red star base. An intense battle follows. The Runabout map involves a battle within a small valley. The Solar Farm is the most enjoyable map. This game is for fans of frenzied online warfare at its best. Check it out.
