Iron Man For The Xbox 360 Game Review

May 11, 2008 | Filed Under Game Reviews |

Iron Man is available for the Xbox 360 from Sega of America, Inc. at a price of $59.99. The game starts as the protagonist is held captive by heavily armed soldiers. The protagonist is Tony Stark. Tony now decides to put his genius to good use. After creating a high tech armored suit Tony Stark morphs into Iron Man.

He decides to do away with the negativity his own genius has created. There are huge open spaces to play this game in. You get to blow away stuff in this high thrill adventure. As you progress the game grows more difficult. After Tony Stark escapes, the plot moves away from the movie, albiet following a similar theme.

The initial level is largely tutorial. Once this is done with there are open battlefields in which to play. Iron Man has a number of ways in which to fight. I liked the missiles and repulsor beam the most. The unibeam is another great weapon but requires time to charge up, which you generally do not have.

Another way Iron Man fights is by grappling enemies. Although reasonably entertaining in the beginning, Iron Man gets a little boring afterwards. Some levels, once beaten, unlock the One Man Army mode. The only issue I had with this game was the spike in difficulty. A nice game, though not the most entertaining.
