Naruto: Rise of a Ninja For The Xbox 360 Game Review

The Naruto manga and anime series has been hugely popular. This has spawned a number of games that have targeted its fans. This latest Xbox offering is a little different. People not familiar to the Naruto genre will be able to enjoy this game due to its unique approach. This is the first time a Naruto game has been made outside Japan.
The scope of this game is large. This game takes you to the beginning of the series so that you can truly appreciate it. There are actual show clips in this game with a sharpness that makes the game feel authentic. There are some jarring transitions. One negative is that the epic feel of the Naruto series is lost here.
As the game proceeds, Naruto gains unique abilities. Chakra and Jutsu concepts are important in this game. The most time is spent inside Konoha where you get your mission as well as play around a bit. Konoha is a large city with an organic feel.
Outside the city walls are bandit hideouts, swamps and temples. You will have to go through the same stretches of area time after again. There is a lot of fighting to be done in this game, so if that is what you want you are looking at the right place. There is also a online mode with a ranked match tournament. If you win six matches in a row, you win.
With an impressive scope and the Naruto appeal this game is a great way to spend a lazy afternoon, specially if you like ninja stuff. Recommended.
