Saints Row for Xbox 360 Game Review

For those who like their games to be completely original, Saints Row will disappoint. For those who just want to have pure fun, Saints Row is the game for them. There are many improvements over the previous games in the GTA series. Older gamers will love it, I think.

The graphics are great. The way the characters are presented, the realistic explosions are simply amazing. The weather, lighting and reflections look great when you consider that the loading time is negligible.

The auto aiming feature is gone. I won’t miss it either. The save scheme now allows you to save frequently. You can now play this game online as well. I didn’t see the timed pizza delivery missions like in the earlier versions. Thank heavens!

One thing I resented about the game is that the only vehicles that were driven by me were cars. There were no motorcycles to ride, no choppers and no sails. It makes one suspicious that this has been done consciously by the programmers so that we have to pay more for an updated version.

Still after playing Saints Row, current versions of GTA are just plain annoying. I recommend this game to sandbox genre fans.
