Skate For The Xbox 360 Game Review

Skate is available for the Xbox 360 from Electronic Arts at a price of $59.99. In the past there have been many skateboarding games. Many of these have been unsuccessful since they were based on the same theme. Skate is a little different from Activision’s game.
I loved the control system of Skate. Most of the important controls are on the two analog sticks and triggers. You get drawn into the game and come out entertained and refreshed as a result. The skater movement is based on the left analog stick and the right one controls the way you move and flip the skatebard.
Lining yourself up and timing yourself are what determine how well you skate. There is a career mode in this game with a lose storyline. In the beginning you need to undergo surgery as you ram into a bus. Your face and body type can be reconfigured as a result.
You need to record footage and win events once you get started. There are also multiskater competitions. Apart from career mode, there are multiplayer events. The visuals of Skate are very realistic and the animation is fantastic.
The soundtrack is a bit wierd though. I liked the in-game audio. Apart from a few minor issues this is a very enjoyable game, if you like this genre. Recommended.
