Summer Athletics: The Ultimate Challenge is available for the Xbox 360 at a price of $29.79. If you are a minigame person then this one is for you. There is a nice selection of minigames - 26 across 7 disciplines. You can choose and play running, jumping, running and jumping etc. This pack is a collection of track and field games.
In the long jump, you need to shake the wii-mote and nunchuk up and down to run and then pull up at just the right time to jump. When the athlete is in the air, you can circle the remote for extra distance and correct posture. It approximates the real thing very well.
Likewise in the hurdles you require substantial skill of mind and coordination to do well, if not physical ability. In the hammer toss you need to rotate the remote while swinging the hammer. When momentum is built, you have to hit the button at the right time to throw.
There is a career mode in this game as well. If you are looking for good family oriented gaming, this is the one for you.
