Turning Point: Fall of Liberty For The Xbox 360 Game Review

Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is available for the Xbox 360 from Codemasters at a price of $59.99. This game is about a completely different look at WW2. The scenario unfolds as Winston Churchill dies after being hit by a taxicab. With Hitlers main foe out of the way he conquers Europe and then looks to conquer the US. This game could be classified as an alternative history first person shooter. You are the ordinary Joe who must save the world from the Nazis.

Airborne Germans invade NYC. As a construction worker during the time you try to escape first. As you are escaping you are put in the middle of German paratroopers, one of whom lands smack in front. As he struggles with the parachute, you get rid of him. You can now pick up his weapon and dispatch off many more Nazis.

The game is set in 1953, but you wont find run of the mill weapons and vehicles in this game. There are many strange prototype weapons like zeppelin troop transports and jet bombers. This keeps us from the drudgery of playing just another WW2 shooter and lets us enjoy something novel. If you are a diehard fan of WW2 action, you should try out this one.
