Viva Pinata Party Animals For The Xbox 360 Game Review

Viva Pinata Party Animals is available for the Xbox 360 at a price of $29.99. This game lacks depth and sophistication. It is a confused mix of a kart racer and a collection of minigames. However it fails to entertain in either department. It is meant only for the core target audience of Viva Pinata. Poor gameplay marks this offering from Microsoft.
This is a four player game that is not too feature rich. You can either play online or at home. There is not much customization that can be done. The controls are simple and there is no major learning curve here. The things to be done include eating apples, collecting candy and squishing raisants.
Not many surprises in the racing levels either. The gameplay is similar to many other mascot based cart racing games. However, the visuals are good and this must be mentioned. The colors are bright and glowing. There is a certain lack of detail, but overall the team has done a good job with the visuals.
In sum, this game has been a thoughtless effort at cashing out on the franchise. It takes the original game down. Not recommended.
